Mr. Chakradaran is a highly respected legal professional with decades of experience in commercial law, arbitration, and maritime litigation across the UAE and international jurisdictions. Admitted to the Sri Lankan Bar in 1966, he has held influential advisory roles, including contributing to the legal foundation of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). He has represented global insurers, P&I clubs, and commercial clients in complex multi-jurisdictional disputes, and has served in senior roles within international arbitration bodies. He brings deep legal expertise, governance insight, and institutional knowledge to the Council.
Mr. Farook Kassim

Farook Kassim is a veteran entrepreneur and business leader with a distinguished track record in trade, investment, and regional enterprise development across Sri Lanka and the UAE. He is the Co-Founder of Expolanka Holdings and currently serves as Chairman of Esanjo Ventures, with interests spanning investment, trading, and precious metals. He has held multiple leadership roles across corporate and community organisations, including founding the Sri Lanka Business Council in Dubai and serving as Chairman on multiple occasions. He brings strategic leadership, entrepreneurial vision, and long-standing community stewardship to the Council.
Mr. Gamini Kannangara

Mr. Gamini Kannangara is a seasoned business leader with over 40 years of experience in logistics, maritime services, and international trade operations. He is the Managing Director of Trico Maritime and leads multiple companies across logistics, travel, and trading, with operations spanning Sri Lanka and global markets. He has also played a key role in public–private trade facilitation initiatives with Sri Lanka Customs and has been recognised for his long-standing contribution to the trade sector. He brings deep operational expertise, regional trade knowledge, and institutional experience to the Council.
